Facilitation of Town Hall Meeting for all political aspirants within Nsukka Diocese

To encourage good governance, JDPC Nsukka planned and is facilitating town hall meetings in all the seven local governments that make up Nsukka diocese using the avenue to engage political aspirant and their voters in a robust interface and manifesto presentation. This was in preparation for the 2023 General election in Nigeria with the goal of helping the voters make informed decisions on whom to vote for. The commission set rules for the engagement and ensured that the participants complied with the rules. However, the commission kicked of this exercise in Udenu with majority of the notable candidates in attendance.
- Voter’s Education Campaign Messages
To counter voter’s apathy, vote selling and buying, electoral ignorance, and electoral violence and fears, JDPC Nsukka developed voters’ education campaign messages that are geared towards curbing this menace in the forthcoming General electoral process in Nsukka Diocese.
