OUR VISION

A world where justice and peace reign and the dignity of human person is in high esteem

OUR MISSION

To apply the values of the gospel, to the problems of the society, and implement/realize social justice, human development, and sustainable peace in the world.

ABOUT US

JDPC Nsukka is a direct answer to the mandate of the Second Vatican Council which states that the church should be concerned in the building of a Just and Peaceful World. The commission is also a response to His Holiness Pope Paul VI encyclical ‘Populorum Progressio’ who states that the ‘progressive development of people is an object of deep interest and concern to the church’. JDPC Nsukka was established in 1991 as a registered Faith-Based and Non-Governmental Organization concerned with the development of people through the promotion of justice and human rights with a mission to apply the values of the gospel to the problems of society and implement/realize social justice, human development, and sustainable peace.
